CT River Valley Golden Retriever Club offers a well dog health screening clinic each year, normally in May. Health Forms are available here.
There is a Board-Certified Ophthalmologist for eye exams, and a Board-Certified Cardiologist for Auscultations and ECHO exams.
We also have been able to offer OFA hip/elbow x-rays to dogs up to golden retriever or Labrador retriever size. Preference is given to Golden Retrievers first, but other breeds are most welcome. Our Health Clinic Flyer is here.
Microchips are available for dogs that need them.
The Golden Retriever Foundation will pay for the OFA eye registration for any Golden 8 years and older.
